Hello! My name is Ja’Meshia Hooten and I joined OBSS in November 2021. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Health from the University of Louisville in 2018. While working on my undergraduate degree, I realized I had a passion for working with individuals who have disabilities. I went on to earn my master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University in May 2021. I have over 3 years of experience working with individuals who have mental health disorders and other developmental/intellectual disabilities.
Since graduating from Ball State, I have been focusing on completing requirements to become a board-certified behavior analyst. I am currently working with children in the foster care population. I spend my free time with my two kids, family, and friends, shopping, and practicing self-care. I am very passionate about helping others function at their highest potential whether it’s physical, social, or emotional. I am looking forward to working with individuals and their families in Southern Indiana.
