Brandy Brewer is a Doctoral Student at the University of Louisville and is a recipient of the Evidence-based Practice Project Leadership Grant. She received both her undergraduate and Master's degrees from the University of Louisville and was a Moderate to Severe Disability teacher before pursuing her Ph.D. Her current research interests revolve around supporting caregivers during e-learning, project-based learning, and early job skills training for elementary-aged students with moderate to severe disabilities. Brandy was a teacher in a moderate to severe disabilities classroom in Jefferson County Public Schools for three years and worked as an in-home behavioral mentor for students with Autism for 14 years. Brandy lives in Jeffersonville with her wife, two small children, and her Portuguese Waterdog (who is afraid of the water), named Beau.
