Gina McCowan received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education from Indiana University Southeast in 2015 and went on to earn her master’s in special education from Ball State University in 2018. Gina is currently in her sixth year teaching in which she has had the opportunity to work with students ranging in age from 5 to 22 years old who have had a variety of diagnoses, including autism and down syndrome, as well as various intellectual disabilities. Gina is a frequent volunteer at Night to Shine, a prom night centered around celebrating young adults with special needs, as well as once heading a local school system's Unified Bowling team. Gina believes all behavior, no matter how challenging, is an attempt at communicating an individual’s wants and needs. Her goal is to help children communicate more effectively leading to a calmer, happier, more balanced child and family. Gina is accepting clients in the southern Indiana areas. Email:
